THE DESIGNER'S POINT OF VIEW...

In addition to the environment in which we were born and grew up, we begin to experience creative practices on the good life in the continuation of the way we look at our environment and the events that develop, most of which was founded during architectural education. With the intensity of the education we receive throughout the school process, we acquire different perspectives and disciplines without even realizing it. Over the years, we begin to experience the results of what we have collected in our pockets, first on paper and then in reality. In addition to the fields where we practice our profession, we can answer almost any task we handle during the day, "-How can it be different?" We feel the desire to rediscover and reveal every time with an experimental creative point of view. When we look at what we have after passing this desire through many filters, we realize that we also feed on the common experiences of different disciplines.

LIGHT GREAT GUIDE

We know that the most important factor in every design is human. The environment we live in, every object we use, everything we hold with our hands and see with our eyes is for human beings. How do we direct and decide what we hold with our hands and see with our eyes? How can we be able to make decisions in a dark world? just intuitive, tactile. Unquestionably, Light is the great guide!

WHAT DOES THE LIGHTING DESIGNER PROVIDE THE INVESTOR?

Light is the most important element that directs our lives, without realizing it. Humans provide about 80% of their perception with the eye. How can we leave it to chance when this ratio directs our entire inner world? If it is known and accepted that vision and light are so important, and an investment is to be made in the project, why not do this work properly?

WHAT IS NOT A LIGHTING DESIGN?

Lighting design is not a process that can be managed by an architect, electrical engineer, or any other discipline. It should be done by a lighting designer who has expertise in this area. A lighting designer is a person who, with the lighting education he received, has the knowledge and experience of mastering the behavior of light with materials, producing alternative solutions, and directing perception with light in spaces. It integrates the lighting correctly with the architecture and illuminates the spaces by using useful, sensitive, and correct techniques within the framework of the foreseen budget. The aim is to design the right light in the right place “independently of the brand”. The architect is responsible for the project, and the lighting designer is responsible for the correct management of the lighting item of the project and the result that will emerge as a result of the consultancy he gives. For this reason, the lighting design should be done by the lighting designer.

Pandemic Process…

The Covid-19 epidemic, which has affected our lives in all areas, has caused changes in our lives in many areas, different from our routine, since the day it was heard.

Lighting Designer What does ARCHITECT provide?

Light is a powerful tool that connects us to life from the day we opened our eyes. It is holistic with every surface it reflects on, a great guide that also affects our quality of life by activating our feelings and perceptions in our subconscious... Is it possible to leave lighting design to change if we are aware of the power of light in our lives?
