FERKO SIGNITURE

Ferko Signature office project, whose architectural project was designed by the world-famous architect Sir Norman Foster, the application project was kr2b Architecture, and the interior design and application project was worked by Autoban, started to serve in 2018.

Ferko Signature is located in Levent, the most important and busiest business area of Istanbul. The building, which draws attention as the rising value of the region with its central location, architectural design and structure built in accordance with the new generation office concept, consists of an office block with a total leasable area of 50 thousand square meters, a 30-storey tower and a city garden connecting the two buildings. The project, where office life meets the concept of "luxury", has been designed with high equipment in order to increase the comfort of the employees and therefore the work efficiency, and to meet different needs, unlike the classical business environment understanding. All spaces in the building, the lounge, food & beverage areas, various meeting rooms, activity areas, sleeping room, co-working and serviced office were built with this understanding.

At the main entrance of Ferko Signature, which was designed to offer an office life intertwined with art, world-famous sculpture artist Tony Cragg's largest sculpture in Turkey 'Must Be' is exhibited. The lobby of the building hosts the work of media artist Refik Anadol, named ‘Wind of Istanbul’, designed for Ferko Signature, which is Turkey's first data picture.

In the project design process, the idea of creating an office environment with the comfort and warmth of the hotel was started. In the interior planning of the building designed with this understanding, warm, stylish, comfortable and timeless spaces have been designed with both function and interior architecture. This approach is also reflected in the material choices, and the use of natural materials such as wood and marble is preferred. In the interior lighting design of the building, the sense of calmness and comfort built in the interior is supported by lighting, and it is transformed into a warm atmosphere with the effect of light. The type of luminaires used is determined according to the functions and needs of the space. It is aimed to create the desired atmosphere by highlighting the choice of light source, light color temperature, angle, light effect on the surfaces, material, texture and color features.

There are sun shading elements on the facade of the building. Working with the façade consultant Priedemann, the details were developed so that lighting fixtures could be integrated into these elements, and the sunshades were redesigned. In the detail created, monochrome flexible led fixtures that are resistant to outdoor conditions are used. In order not to affect the facade lighting and exterior appearance, various decisions have been taken regarding lighting in rental areas. A 1.5 m band was created on the ceiling of the leasable areas in the tower and horizontal block, and the same fixtures were placed on this band on each floor. Another decision included in the management plan is to use luminaires with the same color temperature in every office. By determining a common color temperature, it is aimed to make the facade of the building look neat and harmonious.

In landscape lighting, general lighting of building entrance areas, vehicle roads, pedestrian paths and parking areas has been made. Various plant and tree species are illuminated with suitable fixtures in the green band surrounding the building. The monumental statue of Tony Cragg named 'Must Be' is located in the pool at the main entrance. The sculpture is illuminated by narrow angle spots placed at the corners of the base under it, and glittering effects are created on its bronze surface. The roof of the horizontal office block connecting the two buildings is used as a city garden. The city garden, surrounded by a green band formed by trees and plants, is designed as a pleasant sitting and resting area. Lighting details have been created in accordance with landscape elements such as seating areas, flower pots and benches. Plant and tree types were illuminated, and the general lighting was provided by using bollards at certain intervals.

Ferko Signature, with its location and carefully designed office floors, awaits the brands that dream of a modern office on Büyükdere Street.
