Ferko Signature's architectural project designed by world-renowned architect Sir Norman Foster. Ferko Signature, whose application project by kr2b Architecture, and the interior design & application project by Autoban, started to serve in 2018.
Ferko Signature is located in Levent, the most important and busy business district in Istanbul. The building attracts attention as the rising value of the region with its central location, architectural design and structure built following the new generation office concept. The office block with a leasable area of 50 thousand square meters in total consists of a 30-storey tower and a city garden connecting two buildings.
The project, office life meets with the concept of luxury, is designed with high hardware to increase the comfort and work efficiency of employees and different needs, unlike the classical business environment. All spaces in the building like lounge, eating & drinking areas, various meeting rooms, event areas, sleeping room, co-working and offices are built with this understanding.
Must Be, the world-famous sculptor Tony Cragg's largest sculpture in Turkey, is exhibited in the Ferko's main entrance, which offers an office life intertwined with art. Wind of Istanbul, designed for Ferko Signature by Refik Anadol & Turkey's first official data painting, is located in the building's lobby.
During the project design process, the idea of creating an office environment in hotel comfort and warmth was set out. In the interior planning of the building designed with this understanding, warm, stylish, comfortable and timeless spaces have been designed with both function and interior architecture. This approach has also been reflected in the choice of materials, and the use of natural materials such as wood and marble has been preferred. The feeling of calmness & comfort in the interior was supported by lighting, and it was transformed into a warm atmosphere with the effect of light in the interior lighting design of the building. The type of luminaires used are determined according to the functions and needs of the space and it is aimed to create the desired atmosphere by highlighting the material, texture and color features with the light source selection, light color temperature, angle, light effect on the surfaces.
There are sunscreen elements on the facade of the building. Details have been developed that the luminaire can be integrated into sunscreen elements and solar shades have been redesigned by working with the facade consultant Priedemann. Monochrome flexible led luminaires, resistant to outdoor conditions, are used in the detailed design created. In order not to affect the facade lighting and exterior appearance, various decisions have been taken on lighting in the leasing areas. A 1.5 meter band was created on the ceiling of the leasable areas in the tower and horizontal block, and the same armature placement was made on this floor on each floor. One decision included in the management plan is to use fixtures in the same color temperature in each office. By determining a common color temperature, the facade of the building is intended to look regular and harmonious.

There is a monumental statue called 'Must Be' by Tony Cragg in the pool at the main entrance & illuminated by narrow-angle spots placed in the corners of the base, and shimmering effects are created on its bronze surface. The roof of the horizontal office block connecting the two buildings is used as the city garden. Surrounded by a green band made of trees and plants, the city garden is designed as a pleasant sitting and resting area. Lighting details suitable for landscape elements such as seating areas, flower pots and benches have been created. Plant and tree types have been illuminated, and general lighting has been provided by using bollard at certain intervals.
