VOYAGE SORGUN
Keeping the Voyage quality alive in a thousand and one shades of green, Voyage Sorgun was renewed in 2015 and opened its doors. In addition to the interior architecture, landscaping and improvement works were carried out by Nergiz Arifoğlu Lightstyle lighting design office for the interior, facade, and landscape lighting design of the facility, which was shaped by the GeoID team, under the leadership of Mahmut Anlar. The project area is located in Sorgun Town of Antalya Side Region. The land with an area of 87,000 m2 is framed by dense forest texture and a long beach. The preserved and well-maintained tree texture of the land and its unique vegetation hide the construction in it from different aspects, creating surprise spaces and new areas of use.
The most distinctive feature of the project is the harmony of the old architecture and the new construction with the existing and forming a concept whole. The lighting at the facility was completely renewed with the changing architecture. In addition to the interior architecture, its magnificent green nature, which had not been addressed until that day, was reshaped with lighting.
In addition to a large restaurant and patisserie in the main building, 6 a la carte restaurants such as Chinese (Wén), Greek (Buzuki), Italian (Vista), Turkish (Tepsi) serve guests at different points within the land. Japanese (Teppanyaki) and Steak House (Cariño) are at guests' disposal throughout the year. Voyage Sorgun's 9 different bars with different decorations offer pleasant hours with light and music at night as well as during the day. SPA, fitness, and indoor pool, located at a location where relaxation and sports opportunities meet with nature, have the highest comfort that guests can need.
Since the architectural style of all these renovated spaces is far from an exaggeration with their simple and timeless lines, they were designed with different effects at every hour of the day to provide a familiar and peaceful atmosphere of light. While the different decorations of the spaces and their non-repeatable details and materials were far from boring, the light also found its way with forms that would support and even define this atmosphere.
The indoor and outdoor spaces of the facility, each designed with a different concept and function, but as a part of the larger whole, are equipped with long-lasting and energy-efficient lighting solutions and automation systems using LED light sources. Each designed space is fused with concept-specific lighting solutions developed with special details and simple materials prepared by interior architects. In almost all of the projects, light sources that can change the atmosphere depending on time, daylight, the purpose of use, or user request, can be dimmed, or can change color depending on the choice between certain colors, were preferred. Thus, every place that is experienced with a light scenario has been made to offer a dynamic atmosphere by welcoming its guests with different faces during the day.
A warm and peaceful atmosphere is offered to the user with the lighting that provides a high level of personalization to the users in the rooms where colors and details are designed by keeping the plain life in the foreground. The selected light sources are LED, and while saving energy in this large facility, it also aims to reduce maintenance costs in the long run. The architecture and landscape, which lives in harmony with nature, were designed with a light that does not go beyond the general simplicity of the facility and finds a place as a natural part of the region, by considering security, visual comfort, and user demands experienced so far, together with the employer and the architectural team. In all these spaces, functional lighting scenarios integrated into architectural details have been developed, describing various uses, guiding, differentiating the spaces, completing the ambiance, and providing continuous other experiences.
