IstanbulLight International Lighting and Electrical Equipment Fair Postponed to 2023

“IstanbulLight International Lighting & Electrical Equipment Fair”, which is planned to be held at IFM – Istanbul Expo Center on 6-9 October 2021, organized by INFORMA Markets, of which ATMK, of which Nergiz Arifoğlu is on the Board of Directors, together with AGID, is a strategic partner. postponed until 2023. The 13th National Lighting Congress, which is held simultaneously with the "IstanbulLight Fair" every two years, will be held on the online platform on 6-7 October 2021 due to this situation.

The Turkish National Committee on Lighting has been organizing the "National Lighting Congress" since 1996 in order to "bring together people working in different fields such as research, design, application and production in the lighting sector and to provide mutual knowledge and experience transfer". Lighting is an interdisciplinary study subject consisting of different areas of expertise. As people working with different expertise in the fields of academia and the private sector, the common goal is to carry out studies "in accordance with the lighting technique". Today, as a requirement of digitalization in all sectors, a rapid transformation has started in the lighting sector with the use of advanced technologies such as the internet of things, big data and artificial intelligence. As a result of differentiating living and working conditions, prominent issues such as the relationship between lighting and health, and human-oriented lighting increase the importance of this transformation.

At the 13th National Lighting Congress with the main theme of "Transformation in Lighting", which will be held in the same environment with the "IstanbulLight Fair" every two years, and this year on the online platform on 6-7 October 2021, we will host national and international invited speakers and current events that will bring different perspectives to our industry.
