WE ARE IN DIALOGUE WITH DENİZ ASLAN

This month, we are establishing a dialogue with Dr Deniz ASLAN, the Founder of DS Architecture, in our “Dialogue” interviews on Lighting Design with our guests from different disciplines of the industry.

In addition to his professional career, which he has been carrying out with Sevim Aslan as the founding partner of DS Architecture since 1994, he continues her academic career at ITU Architecture Department and Landscape Architecture Department. At the same time, he has signed the landscape designs of Kanyon AVM, 7800 Cesme, Trump Towers and Zorlu Center projects as well as private housing projects. We talked with Architect Deniz Aslan about lighting design…

1. How does light affect your lifestyle in your life, work, or home?

Light is the most important component of biorhythm and perception, lighting is also an environment and the playmaker of a character.

2. Which of the following is included in your Lighting Design project/investment? Why?

•        Science

•        Technical

•        Art

First of all, it's about the soul, of course, technology...

3. Do you think Architectural Lighting Design can add value to the project? 

The lighting design undoubtedly recreates the project.

4. What do you think the process of working with the Lighting Designer contributed to you as an investor/manager?

We are re-reading and refreshing with the lighting designers.
